#WOTD: Positively Entertaining

#WOTD: Positively,

“Four steps to achievement: Plan purposefully. Prepare prayerfully. Proceed positively. Pursue persistently.” - William Arthur Ward

There is something about the new tag line for the ION channel.  "It's positively entertaining,"  means you know without a doubt you're going to view great, get you hooked television.  And they aren't kidding.  Some of my favorite wind me down shows are on that network - like Criminal Minds (which I watch at night with all the lights on in the house).

The thing is though - the ION Channel knows and they are absolutely sure you will love their network.  They are positive.  This little known network is now competing with the big boys - because they are positively entertaining.

Positive thinking has been around for years.  Marcus Arelius said, "So as a man thinks...is he."  And the great Norman Vincent Peale said, “The person who sends out positive thoughts activates the world around him positively and draws back to himself positive results.”

So, whether you are a big business or in your individual life...thinking positive about the outcomes of life will be in direct porportion to the life you are living.

“If you think about disaster (your's or someone elses or the world's), you will get it. Brood about death and you hasten your demise. Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more fraught with action, richer in achievement and experience.”

When your thoughts are positive they are reflected out into the universe and back again.  My mom use to say that thoughts are like a boomerang (even those thoughts you think towards other people), they somehow come bouncing back and show up in your life again.

Today, know this to be true;  There are two good rules which ought to be written on every heart - never to believe anything bad about anybody unless you positively know it to be true; never to tell even that unless you feel that it is absolutely necessary, and that God is listening.  For when we do...it's excatly what shows up in our own lives.

Here's to a teriffic Tuesday!
