#WOTD: Everything Must Change

Change, cambiar, changer, cambiare.

"Change is the only constant. Hanging on is the only sin."

"Everything must change,
nothing stays the same.
Everyone must change
nothing stays the same.

The young become the old,
mysteries do unfold.
'Cause that's the way of time
nothing and no one goes unchanged.

There are not many things
in life you can be sure of.
Except:

Rain comes from the clouds,
and sun lights up the sky,
and humming birds do fly.

Winter turns to spring.
Wounded heart will heal.
Never much too soon
everything must change

I can hear you now humming this tune.  Oh yes you know it.  It's George Benson and it was one of my favorite songs.  I woke up this morning humming it evidently as a leftover from some far away dream I was having that night.

But things do change and when we fight against that tide of change its like fighting against the wind.  So regardless of whether you believe in change or not, it happens.  I once read somewhere, "If you're in a bad situation don't worrry it'll change.  But if your're in a good situation...don't worry it'll change.

Big changes and little changes can make all the difference in the quality of living you choose to have.  And the most important determining factor in any change is our attitude about what's happening to us.  I love the saying: "If you can't change the people around you...of course change the people around you."

Today, know this to be true; it doesn't matter if you decide to change or not...life will change and we are inevitably swept along with it's momentum.

Today, I'm closing out a few chapters on my life.  Our magazine blog site http://eloncouture.com/ (You're probably reading this on it) will be closing on March 1, 2012.  If you'd like to keep us with us we're now at  http://yolandawebb.blogspot.com/ and the name of our new blog site is LOL - Living Out Loud.  Because life changes us - but through it all we can smile again, laugh again and live our purpose out loud.

We hope to see you there!
