#WOTD: Judgement Day

"If tomorrow is judgement day (sing mommy), and I'm standin on the front line. And the Lord ask me what I did with my life I will say I spent it with you..." - Whitney Houston
I love that song by Whitney...'My Love is Your Love' ,and that first stanza reminds me that we all will face that day at some point in our lives. Death and critical illness have a way of making us face our mortality. It has a way of snapping us back to what really matters in life.
Bobby Brown was right about one thing this past week when he said, "Whitney would have never let that happen" - meaning his exile from her funeral. He's probably right.
Some people have an innate abilitly in life to use a differnt measuring stick when it comes to judgement of another person's actions. And, it takes a good deal of character to judge a person by their future rather than their past.
I have come to understand that judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances. The world is round and the place which may seem like the end which you are judging, may also be only the beginning.
Today, know this to be true: Good judgement comes from experience and often experience comes from bad judgement.
